We love Caroline’s Cookies because the owner, Caroline, is a Lafayette native who saw such great success in her business that she mustered up the courage to expand it to Baton Rouge. Her success is inspiring to us, as employees of a community-focused business.
This Mardi Gras season, Caroline’s Cookies has partnered with Traction Sports, another local business, to spread the King Cake love even further this carnival season. Caroline’s King Cakes take traditional flavors and recipes and incorporates them into her trademark cookies. We’ve had a box or two floating around our local UCB branches lately, thanks to a generous gift by Traction Sports, and they are spectacular!
Next stop … the Thibodaux branch for a PJ’s + Caluda’s collab
If you bank at our Thibodaux branch, you get the perk of having a full-service PJ’s Coffee at the location. As if a caffeine boost while you’re opening up a UCB Reward Checking account isn’t enough, you can also grab a slice of the famous Caluda's King Cake.
