The busiest shopping time of the year is here. Shop safer and stay quickly informed of activity on your account with these free services provided by United Community Bank. First, it's important to make sure your phone number and email address are up-to-date so we can contact you quickly in case there's suspicious activity on your account. In addition, we offer several services that help you stay on top of your account information.

MOBILE CARD MANAGEMENT

As a UCB VISA debit cardholder, you’re empowered to take a proactive approach in setting controls that complement the fraud protection already in place with your account.

From our Mobile App, you can:

• Turn your card on and off: With a single tap, you can immediately disable your card. When your card is blocked, new purchases and ATM transactions are declined. Also, you can easily remove the block at any time.
• Limit transaction amounts: Choose a maximum transaction amount to control individual purchase totals.
• Limit transaction locations: Control where a card is used by choosing to block international transactions or specify a location radius where transactions are allowed. Location limits apply to in-store and ATM Transactions; e-commerce/online transactions are not included in this setting.
• Limit merchant transactions: Control how your card is used by choosing to block specific types of merchants. For example, cards can be set to only work for gas stations. Merchant types are available to you with explanation within our app.

ACCOUNT ALERTS

By using our Account Alerts you will be able to create real time custom alerts that you can receive via Push, Text, or email. We offer over 60 different real time alert options that notify you as activity takes place on your accounts.

MOBILE WALLET

Mobile Wallet options like Apple Pay & Samsung Pay allow you to make payments from your United Community Bank VISA® Debit Card using your Mobile Device with a single touch. It’s available in-store with a variety of merchants and within apps. Products like Apple Pay & Samsung Pay can provide an additional layer of safety because your actual card number is never shared with merchants. There is no charge from United Community Bank, but message and data rates may apply. Such charges include those from your communications service provider. Delivery of alerts may be delayed for various reasons, including service outages affecting your phone, wireless or Internet provider; technology failures; and system capacity limitations.
