Meet You Where You Are

Fall events with UCB

You’ve heard us say it before, but it’s worth repeating … Community is at the center of all we do at United Community Bank. That means you won't just find us in your local branch when you come to make a deposit; you’ll find us where you are! This fall, you’ll find us at your kiddos’ holiday event, a school performance or a charity golf tournament.

Our calendar is packed! Here’s a look at what we’re doing over the next couple of months. Hope to see you there!

Halloween — We bring the good candy

  • Ascension Trunk or Treat
Halloween is a lot more fun when the whole community gets involved. The Ascension Trunk or Treat gives local families a safe, festive place to celebrate with costumes, candy and community spirit.
  • Raceland Trunk or Treat
We love seeing local communities come together to make Halloween special for families. The Raceland Trunk or Treat is a fun, family-friendly celebration that brings neighbors together for an evening of costumes, candy and connection.
  • Golden Meadow Trunk or Treat
The annual Golden Meadow Trunk or Treat is another great example of a community coming together to celebrate the season. We’re happy to support an event that gives local families a chance to enjoy Halloween together.

Golf tournaments — A hole in one!

  • Ascension Chamber Fall Golf Classic
The Ascension Chamber Fall Golf Classic brings local business and community leaders together for a day of friendly competition, conversation and connection. Come tee up with UCB!
  • Lafourche Chamber Fall Golf Tournament
The Lafourche Chamber’s golf tournament is a great opportunity to get out on the course while supporting the Chamber and the businesses it serves. We’re glad to be part of an event that brings the local business community together.
  • St. Jude Catholic School Golf Tournament
Community support helps schools create opportunities for their students, and events like the St. Jude Catholic School Golf Tournament make that support possible. We’re proud to participate in an event that brings families, supporters and community members together for a great cause.
  • Nicholls Colonial Athletic Association Golf Tournament
We’re proud to support the Nicholls community through the Colonial Athletic Association’s golf tournament. Events like this bring alumni, supporters and community partners together while investing in the future of Nicholls athletics.

College & career expo — Considering a career in banking?

  • Ascension Parish Schools College & Career Fest
The College & Career Fest gives Ascension Parish students the opportunity to connect with colleges, technical schools and local employers as they think about what comes next. We’re excited to show up for the next generation and help connect students with possibilities for their future.

Festivals

  • Rougarou Fest — Houma
Few things celebrate South Louisiana quite like a good festival. Rougarou Fest brings together local culture, food, music and family fun, and we’re proud to support a celebration that showcases what makes our region unique.
  • Acadia Music Fest — Thibodaux
Acadia Music Fest brings people together through live music and community spirit. We’re happy to support an event that gives our neighbors a chance to enjoy great music while celebrating the Thibodaux community.
  • Boucherie & Balloon Fest — Sorrento
A little Louisiana tradition, a little spectacle and a whole lot of community: the Boucherie & Balloon Fest is a uniquely local celebration. We’re proud to support an event that brings people together in Sorrento
  • St. John Andouille Festival
Food is one of the ways Louisiana communities connect, and the St. John Andouille Festival is a perfect example. We’re excited to support this annual celebration of local flavor, music, culture and community.

Community partnerships & causes — The heart of the matter

  • Burden Corn Maze
Fall traditions are meant to be shared, which is why we’re proud to sponsor the Burden Corn Maze throughout October. It’s a great opportunity for families to enjoy the season while supporting a beloved Louisiana community destination.
  • Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and our locations across the region will come together to raise funds benefiting Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. Supporting the health and well-being of our neighbors is an important part of being a good community partner.
  • Team of Dreams — Gonzales
We’re proud to support Team of Dreams as a sponsor and through employee volunteers. Our team members serve as buddies during the fall baseball season, helping players with disabilities participate, compete and experience the joy of the game. It’s a hands-on example of what community involvement means to us.

Mark your calendars and join us this fall to see why community matters most at United Community Bank.
